In a mixing bowl, mix:
- 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Onion
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Shallot
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice.
- Drop of Red Food Coloring (completely optional but chef who shared this recipe from a well-known hotel uses it. I don’t).
Add
- Chicken Pieces (skinless Chicken works well).
Marinate for 24 hours.
Then, Bake on a rack in a Preheated Oven at 350 degrees F for 25-35 minutes.
Serve with peeled , sliced Yellow Onion and Lemon Wedges with Rice or Naan Bread on the side.
